I suppose I took them for granted.
Well, you would, wouldn't you.
Of course you would.
In all honesty, unless you were directly involved in either the manufacture, procurement, use or disposal of them, then why would you even give them a second thought.
Of late though, I have been giving them a second thought. Possibly a third, fourth and/or fifth.
Why?
For good reason, that's why.
Of late I have been in somewhat close proximity to these devices; it hasn't been entirely pleasant and it has been completely humbling.
But one thing has really occurred to me since my closer acquaintance with them, possibly because my mind is trying to distract me from the reason for this closer acquaintance, possibly because I really am interested in the whole thing.
And that one whole thing is:
They really are a bugger to clean.
